By commissioning me you are automatically accepting my terms of service. Failure to follow my terms of service can result in cancellation of Commission WITHOUT REFUND!LAST UPDATED: November 18th, 20251. PaymentI accept USD only. Payments can be made via Paypal, Cashapp or Kofi. (Kofi only in the case you cannot use Paypal or Cashapp.)Full payment for a commission is due within the month you are accepted for a commission and is not due upfront unless it is a one-off commission.
One-off commissions are any commission taken outside of my monthly/bi-monthly google form openings; such as YCHs, special offers, etc.
Failure to pay within the month will result in a temporary blacklist from the next opening. PLEASE be sure you will be able to afford your commission within the month before applying for a commission.
Payment plans are available for any commission that is $200+ and will need to be discussed beforehand. (If you cannot pay the full price within the month.)1a. Refunds and CreditsRefunds may NOT be requested by the buyer.
Unfortunately I do not offer refunds UNLESS I feel I cannot complete the piece. As of now this is my only form of income and cannot afford to take a commission payment and pay it back in the future. Please do NOT commission me if you are expecting to be able to refund in the future.I retain the right to refuse any commission, harassment, ill behavior and breaking of the ToS can result in your commission being cancelled WITHOUT REFUND!Commission Credits will be offered firstly if I cannot finish a piece for whatever reason. Commission credits is a balance that is kept track on my queue. I will usually offer more credits that what you originally paid for if they are being offered due to an inability to complete a paid commission. These credits can be used to commission other artwork. One piece at a time may be commissioned with credits to keep me from being overwhelmed- but these can be commissioned at ANY point in time; even if I am closed for commissions.
Alternatively, commission credits can be obtained as a trade offer.1b. Pricing and Fees
Complexity fees may apply to any commission type. Complexity is based around lineart and color complexity, it is best to assume all base prices listed on my price list are for the most basic of characters.
Examples of characters that may be considered complex: excessive fluff (exception of simple chibis due to style difference), wings, multiple limbs, confusing or complex markings, small details, clothes/accessories, etc.Additional characters in a piece are +100% of the base price but will NOT have complexity fees added on for. Complexity fee for multi-character pieces will be based on whichever the most complex character is.
Rush fees are +50% of the total price. Rush fees are limited and may be declined if I already have too many rush orders or know I will be unable to complete the piece within the given timeframe. Rush pieces will have a set due date. Please refer to my queue for current ETAs of both normal and rush commissions as it can change over time.NSFW fee is +25% of the total price. NSFW fee is added if anything about the requested commission is NSFW in any manner. This includes but may not be limited to: nudity, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, and gore (unrealistic gore such as candy, plush, etc does not fall under NSFW. Blood in itself also does not fall as NSFW.).2. Customer Satisfaction and ChangesIt is my goal as an artist to make the client happy with the artwork they receive! However, this being said; I will NOT change my personal art style to meet different expectations. If you do not like my art style, please do not commission me.
Please be sure you give every detail about your commission when you apply for a commission. Further discussion or questions may be asked before I decide if I'd like to accept it. If you do not give details on pose, expression, etc I will take artistic liberty. Please be sure to always provide your characters personality to get the most accuracy in the piece. If there are details missing from the ref, or is unclear please make them clear beforehand. I should not have to trial and error my way through the commission if a client does not provide enough details, I am an artist- not a mind reader!2a. Changes To The Commission ProcessThumbnail sketches may be created before I start on the actual sketch. Thumbnails are created to get an idea on a pose, expression, etc. Most cases I will create multiple thumbnails for larger pieces and allow the client to chose one if the piece is artistic liberty. Unused thumbnails may be converted into a YCH sale, or can be commissioned by the client as a separate piece.Sketch phase: I will not make thumbnail sketches for every commission, and will sometimes jump straight to the actual sketch for the commission if thumbnails are not required (such as commissions that had a specific idea/pose/expression requested). At this point you are allowed to request changes if I had missed something, made a mistake with the character's anatomy, or sketched something incorrectly. At this point this is where most changes are allowed to be made.Lineart Phase: I have 2 phases for my lineart. The first part of the lineart process you can request minor changes that were not clear in the sketch. Lines will lack line weight, tiny details and may overlap with other lines- these will be fixed/cleaned up during the second lineart phase.
The second phase of my lineart is the clean up and detailing, the only changes that may be allowed in this phase is adding details I may have missed.Color and Shading Phase: I will typically shade all shaded pieces before I color. Shading may not be changed, so please be sure you specify light sources or lighting mood when requesting your commission. (Some coms I may do some mock up shading in the sketch, this can be changed if so.)
Colors are color picked from the reference sheet. If you provide a shaded reference that does not have accurate spots to color pick I will confirm a palette with you beforehand or most likely will not accept the commission all together. Changes can be made to the flat coloring phase if I missed markings and details or accidentally color picked a wrong color.I will NOT completely redo a commission at any point in the commission process. As stated before if you do not like my art style, do not commission me! You will not be refunded nor will I change my artstyle to cater to your preferences.3. ETA and Updates
As of now, my ETA can be found on my Trello Queue under the "INFORMATION" list. This ETA is updated based on how long my queue is and what type of commissions are currently in my queue. This as well is an ESTIMATE, however if necessary I will be sure to personally let you know if there are any delays. All commission cards on the Trello will have a listed "due date" which is the absolute latest the commission is expected to be finished.
Please do NOT DM me asking for updates on your commission unless it has been over the listed "due date". The Trello queue is there for public viewing to give all clients an accurate display on the current progress on commissions. If I do not DM with any updates, then there are no updates to be given.
I will DM you once your commission is to be started next or soon. It will be moved to the "Started/Starting Soon" list and you will be personally let know when it is moved there. At this time I do NOT work with client requested due dates. In the case something comes up and will put a delay in my work I will try my best to personally update everyone within my queue, but since there can be a large handful of clients at a time I may accidentally miss someone! It is recommended to join my Discord Server as I will always announce updates and delays there as well.3a. Work Schedule
A brief visual of my current work schedule is found on my Trello Queue.
I work Monday-Friday, take Saturday and Sunday off, and take most Holidays off. I will not work on my off days unless I feel like it! Otherwise I will be working every weekday. My active work status is updated on my Trello queue. "Working" is when I am actively working, otherwise it will be noted with reason for inactivity such as Holidays, medical instances, family or other emergencies that prevent me from working actively.3b. WIPs
WIPs (Work-in-progress) images will be sent as I work through your commission unless requested or stated otherwise. All commissions by default will come with WIPs with the exception of things like some YCHs and smaller simpler pieces. Any commission type that does NOT come with WIPs will be stated in the commission's info.
As part of my Kofi membership, WIPs of commissions are posted privately to there. All WIP images that have the Kofi tiled watermark over it may NOT be reposted anywhere. Please refrain from sharing any WIPs you receive publicly (privately with friends is fine!). NSFW commission WIPs do not get posted to Kofi as it is SFW and may be saved and posted in 18+ areas if you desire.3c. Rush Orders
Rush orders are commissions that have been ordered with an additional fee to have the piece prioritized over non-rush orders. The Rush ETA is displayed alongside my usual ETA on the Trello Queue. Rush commissions will ALWAYS be done within at least 3 months and will have a hard set due date attached to their card on trello. I will only take on so many rush orders at a time however, and they are not a common occurrence.4. Usage Policy and Copyright Infringement
All commissioned artwork, by law; is protected under copyright. You may not claim to be the artist of the artworks commissioned, use the artwork for generative AI training, make edits to the artwork by you or someone else without permission, or to trace over or copy in any way. The artwork, by itself; may not be resold and profited off of. (If you are selling a character you own that is included in the piece it may be added to that character's resell value based on how much you paid for the piece. You may not value the artwork for any more than was paid for.)Commissions may also not be used for profit by selling merchandise featuring the artwork unless agreed to beforehand. Merch artwork will require additional fees and agreements. I do not at this time offer merch artwork.4a. Usage Policy
I (the artist) am allowed to use the commissioned artwork to:
-Promote myself on personal websites and social platforms to advertise my commissions or artwork in general. (All commissioned artwork is posted to my socials by default, you are welcome to request to have pieces private however.)
-Take full credit for the artwork.The client is allowed to use the commissioned artwork to;
-Post the artwork on social platforms, so long as credit is given.
-Print the artwork and use for personal projects.
-Claim the ownership rights to the character(s) in the artwork, so long as they rightfully own them.4b. Copyright Infringement
The following is considered copyright infringement and may result in legal action being taken if broken.
-Taking credit for the creation of the artwork.
-Removing any watermarks or signatures.
-Altering the artwork without my (the artist's) consent.
-Using the artwork for profit through merchandise or other means. (Again, the artwork's value can be added to a character that you own and is being resold.)
By taking ownership of one of my designs, you are automatically agreeing to my Adopt TOS.LAST UPDATED: May 8, 2025I. RESELLING AND TRADING
Purchased Adopts: Adopts that were purchased from me directly may be resold for the price you paid or less. They may not be resold for more UNLESS they come with additional commissioned, traded (traded artwork may not count towards value depending on the artist's ToS that traded with you.) or personal artwork. Gifted artwork received entirely for free does NOT add to the adopts value.
If you need a reminder on how much you paid for an adopt, I always list the amount paid in the transfer logs.Traded Adopts: Adopts you obtained from me or another user via a trade (Characters, art, anything that wasn't a payment of USD.) may only be resold if YOU added additional artwork through commission, trade (traded artwork may not count towards value depending on the artist's ToS that traded with you.) or personal artwork. Gifted artwork received entirely for free does NOT add to the adopts value. If you did not add additional art however you may not resell them.Gifted Adopts: Adopts you received from me or another user as a gift/freebie/giveaway may NOT be resold unless you added additional artwork via commission, trade (traded artwork may not count towards value depending on the artist's ToS that traded with you.) or personal artwork. Gifted artwork received entirely for free does NOT add to the adopts value.
The max value a gifted adopt with no added value can be vouchered for is $25. Read on how vouchers work below. All adopts are allowed to be traded regardless of how they were obtained. All adopts are allowed to be vouchered regardless of how they were obtained. Vouchers are where you give someone the adopt in trade for them to commission an artist/purchase an adopt for you. The money spent on the commission/adopt does NOT under any circumstance go into your possession and is paid by the other person directly to the artist/owner of the adopt you want. These do not need to be approved by me, but do not ask for a voucher that is worth significantly more than the adopt. (Gifted adopts with no added value can have vouchers worth up to $25)II. CHARACTER RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS
Buyer receives full character rights, you reserve the right to redesign the character so long as it resembles the original design, create and receive artwork of the character, give them lore, create and sell merch of the character, share them where you please, use them in personal projects, etc. If you are unsure of something that'd be okay you'd like to do with them feel free to ask! Though generally you have full rights, all I ask is to be credited back to the original design and my artwork of them.Regarding merch: you may NOT use my artwork for merch, only the design of the character! You're welcome to contact me about creating merch artwork however as I have special terms for that. While you are welcome to redesign the character, you are NOT allowed to alter my artwork in any way without permission. I will usually be up for small edits to the design if necessary or give permission depending on the edit IF YOU ASK FIRST! I am also available for redesign commissions at a discounted price for my designs.Do NOT remove my designs off of Toyhouse. All my designs are required to stay on Toyhouse for protection against scamming, avoiding loss of art and design credits, TOS is always listed on there, and generally I just enjoy being able to look back at old designs and seeing how far they've come! You may also not delete the characters original profile for any reason, even if you intend to reupload it. There is no reason for this and does nothing but loses everything.III. GENERAL TERMS
REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTS EVER!
Once you purchase an adopt, you may not be refunded for any reason. If you are caught breaking TOS you will be blocked and blacklisted, or questioned depending on the severity and what your intentions seem to be.
